Abstract:Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of prophylactic cervical cerclage and expectant therapy in cervical insufficiency (CIC).Methods A total of 120 CIC hospitalized patients admitted to our department of obstetrics from January 2016 to December 2017 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group(60 cases)and observation group(60 cases)according to random number table method. The control group was used expectation treatment, observation group was performed preventive cervical cerclage treatment, the pregnancy outcomes of the two groups of patients were compared. Results The patients in the observation group had significantly higher rate of term and neonatal survival than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The abortion rate and premature delivery rate in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in prolonged pregnancy between the two groups(P>0.05).The patients in the observation group who underwent surgery from 12 to 17 weeks of gestation were significantly higher than those in the 18 to 23 weeks group, and the preterm birth rate was lower than that of 18 to 23 weeks, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Early implementation of prophylactic cervical cerclage contrast to expect full-term therapy can improve the yield and neonatal survival in patients with CIC,reduce the abortion rate and the rate of preterm birth, which is worthy of reference promotion.
