Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of metal grid assisted percutaneous pedicle screw internal fixation in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures. Methods From June 2013 to August 2017,25 patients with complete follow-up data of thoracolumbar fractures treated with metal grid assisted pedicle screw fixation were selected. The Cobb angle, vertebral height ratio and VAS score were observed before and after operation, and the efficacy of all patients was evaluated according to the modified Macanb standard.ResultsThe Cobb angle,VAS score and vertebral body height ratio of 25 patients were significantly improved after operation, compared with before operation (P<0.01).The modified Macanb standard was excellent in 15 cases, good in 8 cases, fair in 2 cases and poor in 0 cases. The excellent and good rate was 92%.Conclusion The metal grid assisted percutaneous pedicle screw internal fixation simplifies the operation, and the treatment effect is satisfactory, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
