Abstract：ObjectiveTo study the effects and nursing experience of U shaped pillow in application of the downward posture in the rear of retinal detachment.MethodsFifty patients who underwent retinal detachment surgery in our hospital from June 1st,2015 to June 30th,2017 were selected as research objects,and were divided into reference group and study group by random number table method,with 25 cases in each group.In the reference group,patients were given routine downward posture nursing instead of Ushaped pillow,while in the research group,patients were given Ushaped pillow for downward posture nursing.The intervention effects of the two groups were observed and compared,and the nursing experience was summarized.ResultsThe duration of body position maintenance and first sleep in the study group were significantly longer than those in the reference group,the length of stay in the study group was shorter than that in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of discomfort symptoms in the study group was significantly lower than that in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).ConclusionThe U shaped pillow in application of the downward posture in the rear of retinal detachment can effectively prolong patients′posture maintenance time,improve sleep condition,shorten hospitalization time,reduce the incidence of uncomfortable symptoms and relieve patients′pain,thus it is worth promoting.
