Abstract：Tetrandrine (Tet)is extracted from the dry roots of tetrandrine.It belongs to isoquinoline alkaloids.In recent years,Tet is mainly used in clinical diseases,such as cardiovascular diseases,tumors and digestive diseases.Tet has potential value in clinic.This paper reviewes the pharmacological action of tetrandrine,aiming at better research and application of tetrandrine,guiding clinical medication and basic experimental research.
