Abstract:ObjectiveTo discuss the clinical effect of hemostatic wound healing gauze (carboxymethyl chitosan)in the treatment of traumatic oral mucosal ulcer.MethodsFrom August 2015 to October 2017,84 patients with oral ulcers caused by various types of wounds in outpatient clinic of stomatology in our hospital were selected as the subject, and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 42 cases in each group. In the observation group, hemostatic wound healing gauze was used, while in the control group, mirabilitum praeparatum spray was adopted. After treatment, time for pain relieving was observed. The time of wound edema disappeared on the 3rdand 7thday after treatment was observed as well as the effect of wound healing and repairing. The adverse reactions were recorded and evaluated.ResultsThe effective time of pain relieving in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05).The disappearance time of wound edema in the observation group was much shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).The cure rate on the 7thday in the observation group was 95.2%,significantly higher than that in the control group accounting for 64.3% (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in safety between the two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionHemostatic wound healing gauze in the treatment of traumatic oral mucosal ulcers obtains effect of pain relieving and ulcer healing promotion in good safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
