Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effect of Ketotifen orally combined with Tanreqing atomization inhalation in treatment of senile patients with post-infectious cough (TIC).Methods A total of 86 senile patients with TIC treated in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2017 were selected as subjects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random digital table method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with oral Ketotifen,and the observation group was treated with Tanreqing atomization inhalation on the basis of the control group.Trentment course lasted for 2 weeks of the two groups.The clinical effects,total points of the cough symptom before and after treatment and the adverse reaction of the two groups were compared.ResultsThe total effective rate of the patients in the observation group (95.3%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(81.4%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total points of the cough symptom of patients in the two groups 1 and 2 weeks after treatment were lower than before the treatment,the total points of the cough symptom of patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the ontrol group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 9.3%,while it was 11.6%in the observation group,the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of Ketotifen orally combined with Tanreqing atomization inhalation in the treatment of PIC is better than Ketotifen monotherapy,and the side effects are similar.It is worth spreading.
