Abstract:Objective To establish the HPLC fingerprint chromatogram of Atalantia buxifolia coupled with chemometrics means for the quality control of multi-batches of medicinal material. Methods The samples were analyzed on Kromasil 100-C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)column with a acetonitrile(A)-0.5%acetic acid(B)as the mobile phase(0-30 min, 20%→50%A;30-70 min,50%→100%A)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min.The detective wavelength was 254 nm and the column temperature was at 35℃.12 samples was constructed for similarity evaluation, cluster analysis and principle component analysis. Results A specificity HPLC fingerprint spectrum was developed for Atalantia buxifolia,18 common peaks were indicated and 12 samples were divided into 5 groups. Conclusion With the combination of chemometrics means, the HPLC fingerprint chromatogram provides a method for evaluation of authenticity and quality control of Atalantia buxifolia, which is favorable to improve quality control of Atalantia buxifolia.
