Abstract：Cancer pain is one of the major pain in patients with advanced cancer，which serious1y affect the patient's qua1ity of 1ife and anticancer therapy.The estab1ishment of demonstration ward of the standardized treatment of cancer pain and imp1ementation of cancer pain nursing work in department of onco1ogy of the Fifth Hospita1 affi1iated to Guangzhou Medica1 University were introduced detai11y in this paper.Nurse training and the re1evant regu1ations creating were attacted importance in the process，and the process accordance with the pain assessment，imp1ementation of ana1gesia，hea1th education，observation records and fo11ow-up was strict1y imp1emented.After estab1ishing demonstration ward of the standardized treatment of cancer pain，the process of nurses treating the cancer pain was regu1ated，the abi1ity of the nursing staffs to dea1 with cancer pain was enhanced，the treatment and rehabi1itation of patients was effective-1y promoted，and the patient satisfaction was improved.This work p1ayed a good exemp1ary ro1e for the fu11 imp1ementation of pain1ess ward in our hospita1.
