Curative effect comparison of treatment severe ventricular hemorrhage by external ventricular drainage combine with urokinase lavage and simple ventricular drainage

Abstract:Objective To approach curative effect comparison of treatment severe ventricular hemorrhage by external ventricular drainage combine with urokinase lavage and simple ventricular drainage.Methods The 64 cases clinical data of severe ventricular hemorrhage patients in Cerebral Surgery Department of People′s Hospital of Luxi County from February 2012 to February 2015 were analyzed,which was to be divided into two groups by different treatment methods,external ventricular drainage combine with urokinase lavage group 32 cases and simple ventricular drainage group 32 cases.The hematoma removal time,cerebrospinal fluid recovery time of two groups severe ventricular hemorrhage patients were detected,the GCS score of two groups severe ventricular hemorrhage patients were detected.Results The hematoma removal time [(5.2±1.2)d],cerebrospinal fluid recovery time [(9.4±1.9)d]of external ventricular drainage combine with urokinase lavage group severe ventricular hemorrhage patients were lower than those of simple ventricular drainage group [(10.3±1.6),(17.2±3.6)d],the good/moderate disability proportion of 50.0%in external ventricular drainage combine with urokinase lavage group severe ventricular hemorrhage patients were higher than simple ventricular drainage group of 25.0%,severely disabled/coma (37.5%),death rate (12.5%)were lower than simple ventricular drainage group(50.0%,25.0%,P<0.05),the differences were statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The patients of treatment severe ventricular hemorrhage by external ventricular drainage combine with urokinase lavage,clinical symptoms can improve,prognostic level of patients is high,it is worth to be used.
