Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effects of locking proximal humerus plate and traditional steel plate in treating proximal humeral fractures. Methods 56 proximal humeral fractures patients treated from May 2014 to February 2016 of our hospital were selected and were divided according to random draw principle.28 patients in treatment group were used locking proximal humerus plate and 28 patients in control group were used traditional steel plate.Excellent rate of fracture healing, healing time and incidence rate of complications in two groups were compared. Results The excellent rate of fracture healing, incidence rate of complications and fracture healing time in treatment group were respectively 92.8%,21.4%and (11.5±2.4)weeks,which were respectively 75.0%,7.1%and (15.9±3.1)weeks in control group, with the significant differences(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion Compared with traditional steel plate operation, locking proximal humerus plate in treating proximal humeral fractures has more advantages, which can promote the healing process, decrease the complications during rehabilitation period, with safe and reliable, and has promotion significance.
