Abstract：Objective To explore the early diagnosis method of nodular goiter with thyroid micro-carcinoma.Methods 200 cases patients with nodular goiter from January 2011 to December 2014 in our hospital were selected as the research object，all patients underwent preoperative thyroid ultrasonography，were performed surgical treatment，and intraoperative frozen section examination was given.30 nodular goiter patients with postoperative pathological diagnosis of thyroid micro-carcinoma were selected as the observation group，the rest of 170 nodular goiter patients without thyroid micro-carcinoma were selected as the control group.The positive detection rate of thyroid micro-carcinoma was detected by color Doppler ultrasonography and intraoperative frozen section，and the nodule calcification status and the number of nodules was compared between the two groups respectively.Results The positive detection rate of preoperative color ultrasound was 26.67%，the positive detection rate of intraoperative frozen section was 56.67%，compared with the postoperative pathological diagnosis results，the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）.The nodule calcification rate and the proportion of individual nodules in the observation group was higher than that in the control group，with significant difference（P＜0.05）.Conclusion In clinical practice，the early diagnosis of nodular goiter with thyroid micro-carcinoma should be strengthened，which can be performed quickly and pathological examination in the process of nodular goiter，so as to determine the scope of surgical resection.
