Abstract：Objective To discuss the feasibility of the therapeutic protocol of Nifedipine Controlled Released Tablets combined with Benazepril，so as to reduce the fluctuations of blood pressure and prevent the incidence rate of all types of complications in the elderly patientswith hypertension.Methods 100 elderly patientswith hypertension whowere admitted to our hospital from March 2015 to March 2016 were selected as research subjects according to the randomization principle，and they were assigned into the control group and the experiment group by draw lots，with 50 patients in each group.All the enrolled patients were orally given Benazepril，and the experiment group was also given Nifedipine Controlled Released Tablets at the same time.The antihypertensive effect of different therapeutic protocols was compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in the experiment group（96.00%）was better than that in the control group（76.00%），and the difference between the two groupswas statistically significant（P＜0.05）；the diastolic pressure and systolic pressure in the experiment group before drug administration was（110.7±12.2）and （165.4±14.7）mmHg respectively，and the diastolic pressure and systolic pressure in the control group before drug administration was （112.4±12.4）and（166.2±15.3）mmHg respectively；after the treatment，the diastolic pressure and systolic pressure in the experiment group was（70.5±11.8）and（122.2±12.4）mmHg respectively，and the diastolic pressure and systolic pressure in the controlgroup was（88.7±13.4）and（145.1±13.1）mmHg respectively.The reduction in the experimentgroup wasmore significant，and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant（P＜0.05）.Conclusion During the treatment course of elderly hypertension，the application of Nifedipine Controlled Released Tablets combined with Benazepril is helpful for improving the antihypertensive effects，reducing fluctuations of blood pressure and the incidence rate of adverse events，which is highly effective and worthy of clinical promotion and application.
