Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of hip replacement and internal fixation in the treatment of femoral neck fracture in elderly patients, and to provide evidence for clinical treatment. Methods From February 2011 to November 2014,76 cases of elderly patientswith femoral neck fracture (>60 years)were selected and randomly divided into control group (34 cases)and observation group (42 cases). The control group was treated with internal fixation of fracture treatment, observation group was given hip arthroplasty. The therapeutic effect, postoperative follow-up and complicationswere compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, postoperative 24 h drainage flow and activity time of observation group were significantly better than that of control group (P<0.01).After 1 year of follow-up,no lost follow-up.The excellent and good rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (92.06%vs 73.53%,P<0.05).The health self rating scale SF-36 scores observation group were significantly better than that of control group (P<0.01).The incidence of complications of the observation group was significantly lower than that of control group(11.90%vs 35.29%,P<0.05).Conclusion Hip replacement treatment of senile femoral neck fracture, post operative recovery fast fewer complications,it is a kind ofmore effective surgicalmethod
