Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Bailing Capsule on immune function concurrent radiochemotherapy for patientswith nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the same period. Methods The clinical data of 80 patientswith nasopharyngeal carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital from December 2010 to December 2014，40 cases（control group）were treated with concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy，while 40 cases （experimental group）were treated with the combination of Bailing Capsule and concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets and immunoglobulin levels before treatment，after treatment and follow-up for 3 months，6 months，adverse drug reactionswere compared between two groups.Results After treatment，follow-up 3 months and 6months，CD4+，CD8+and CD4+/CD8+level of the experimental group were better than those of the control group（P＜0.05）.After treatment，follw-up 3months and 6months，IgG，IgA and IgM level of the experimental group were better than those of the control group（P＜0.05）.In the experimental group，the ratio of bonemarrow suppression （27.5%），oral cavity and pharyngealmucosal congestion and erosion（20.0%）was significantly lower than that of the control group（52.5%，47.5%）respectively（P＜0.05）.Conclusion Concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy can enhance the immune function，reduce side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy，improve the therapeutic effect，and the value of clinical application is remarkable.
