Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the effect difference of open tibial fractures of Gustifo grade-ⅢA patients treated by internal fixation inⅠstage and external fixation.Methods82 patients with open tibial fractures of Gustifo grade-ⅢA in Departmentof Orthopedics of Our Hospital from January 2014 to March 2016 were seleted and divided into observation group(41 cases)and control group(41 cases),Patients in the observation group were givenⅠstage internal fixation, while patients in the control group received external fixation treatment, healing effects in two groupswere compared.ResultsThe recovery of affected limb function in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the differencewas statistically significant(P<0.05);the fracture healing rate was 97.56%in the observation group, significantly higher than 73.17%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);the infection rate of wound and external fixator in the observation group was 4.88%,significantly lower than 24.39%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).ConclusionPatientswith open tibial fractures of Gustifo grade-ⅢA treated withⅠstage fixation can significantly improve the functional recovery of affected limb and fracture healing rate, which is beneficial to the recovery of the fracture after treatment.
