Epidemiological distribution characteristics of distal radial fractures inpatients in Guangzhou local region

Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze of Guangzhou bonesetting hospital distal of the radius fractures during the period of 5 years epidemiological characteristics and trends,help to understand the onset of the disease characteristics in Guangzhou local region.MethodsThe medical imaging computer system (PACS)was used,11 628 cases of the distal radius fractures in patients with clinical data were collected from July 2010 to December 2015 in our hospital,the age,sex,cause of injury, fracture classification and treatment methods for statistical were analyzed.ResultsA total of 11 628 cases,5156 cases of male,female 6472 cases;in patients with distal radius fractures with 50-59 patients most,accounting for 20.72%;causes hurt themselves in the highest,accounting for 62.1%;there was no significant difference in the fracture classification distribution between different gender significance (P>0.05),but the women of the distal radius fracture distribution was higher(male to female ratio was 0.80∶1).ConclusionAnalysis shows that the distal radius fracture patients in such aspects as individual features,cause of trauma has a certain distribution.
