Abstract：Objective To understand the incidence rate and change of birth defects in Changqing District from 2012 to 2016,and to provide reference for the development of intervention measures.Methods The perinatal birth defects in Changqing District from October 2012 to September 2016 were analyzed retrospectively.Results The total number of perinatal fetus was 18 479 cases in 5 years.Among of them,the death of perinatal was 99 cases,died with in 7 days was 9 cases,and the number of defective children was 140 cases(non-including 68 cases of defective childrenwho were less than 28 weeks).The total incidence of birth defects was 75.76/10 000.The rate during 2012 to 2016 was 47.6/10 000-88.9/10 000.It was lower than the level rate of the province but rose year by year.There was significant difference in the incidence of birth defects among different age groups(P＜0.01).The top five birth defects had little change,especially the top three defects which almost had no change in the past three years.While the rate of limb deformity was high in the last 2 years,and neural tube defects did not show a downward trend in 3 years.Conclusion Pregnant women should be careful in doing family guidance in the premarital examination at the same time,who should be guided the regular prenatal care,the publicity and education work shoule be placed in the first place,Folic acid supplement service should be put in place,which can effectively reduce the incidence of birth defects,improve population quality.
