Analysis of the early identification and prevention of postpartum hemorrhage

Abstract：Objective To analyze the causes of postpartum hemorrhage,early identification,reduce postpartum hemorrhage and maternal mortality.Methods Case date of 358 dead maternal caused by postpartum hemorrhage in Guizhou Province from January 2005 to December 2014 were retrospectively analyzed.Results Postpartum hemorrhage took the first place among the causes of maternal death,of which uterine inertia was the primary cause;postpartum hemorrhage caused by maternal mortality occurred mainly within 4 hours after delivery,followed by 4-12 h.Conclusion A high degree of vigilance 4 hours after delivery can be taken by accurately estimating the amount of blood loss,deal the third stage of labor actively,massage the uterus postpartum 2 hours regularly,active treatment of uterine atony,focusing on prevention of high risk factors and preventive drugs,can reduce the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in a large extent,and lower the death rate of maternal caused by postpartum hemorrhage.
