Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of acupotomy lysis treating mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome.Methods94 patients with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome treated in our hospital from July 2014 to December 2015 were selected as study subjects. They were randomly divided into observation group (n=47)and control group (n=47).The control group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion, the observation group were treated with acupotome lysis therapy. After 2 weeks treatment, the clinical efficacy between two groups was compared.ResultsThe total effective rate of the observation group (95.74%)was significantly higher than the control group (85.11%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,Levine carpal tunnel syndrome questionnaire score in two groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the observation group was significantly better than the control group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionAcupotomy lysis treating mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome is helpful to improve the clinical symptoms, the curative effect is remarkable, and it can be popularized in clinic.
