Abstract：ObjectiveTo explore the application of evidence based nursing in children with severe hand-foot-andmouth disease(EV71)combined with encephalitis.Methods140 children patients with severe hand-foot-and-mouth disease(EV71)combined with encephalitis in our hospital from March 2015 to March 2016 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group.The two group were all given clinical routine therapy,and the control group was given routine nursing,the observation group was given evidence based nursing.The effective rate and length of hospital stays were compared between two groups.ResultsThe effective rate in the observation group(94.29%)was higher than that in the control group(74.29%),the length of hospital stays[(8.5±2.5)d]was longer than that in the control group[(12.0±3.0)d],and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.01).ConclusionIn children with severe severe hand-foot-and-mouth disease(EV71)type merger encephalitis used in the treatment of evidence-based nursing intervention can significantly improve the treatment effect,speed up the patients′recovery time.
