Abstract：Objective To study the application of information-based continuation nursing in the treatment of phimosis with a foreskin retractor. Methods From September 2019 to September 2021, 50 children with phimosis who underwent a foreskin retractor in the Pingxiang Third People′s Hospital and Ganxi Hospital were selected and divided into the control group (n=25) and the test group (n=25) according to the random number table method .Children in the control group received routine nursing care. On the basis of the control group, the children in the test group were combined with information-based continuous nursing care. Both groups were nursing for 2 weeks and followed up for 2 weeks.The number of outpatient visits, cure time, satisfaction, compliance and complications during nursing were compared between the two groups. Results The number of outpatient visits in the test group was less than that in the control group, cure time was shorter than that in the control group, and the satisfaction score was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05）. During the nursing period, the total compliance of the test group (88.00%) was higher than that of the control group (52.00%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),and the total incidence of complications in the test group (4.00%) was lower than that of the control group (28.00%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Information-based continuous nursing can effectively improve the compliance of children in the treatment of phimosis with a foreskin retractor, and at the same time can reduce the occurrence of complications, improve overall satisfaction, and have a better application effect.
