Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of comprehensive nursing intervention on the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and cortisol (Cor) in patients with depression of differen genders. Methods A total of 60 patients with depression who were admitted to our hospital from August 2018 to August 2019 were selected as resear ch subjects. They were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group. The control group u nderwent routine nursing intervention, and the study group implemented comprehensive nursing intervention for a period of 8 weeks. The expression levels of B DNF and Cor were compared between the two groups of patients with different genders before and after intervention. Results The expression of BDNF and Cor in the study group was not significantly different from those in the control group before intervention (P>0.05).The expression level of BDNF i n male and female in the study group were (29.86±4.02) and (27.78±3.35) pg/ml, higher than those of the control group of (26.14±3.71) and (24.36±3.29) pg/ml, after interven tion, the expression levels of BDNF in male and female patients were higher than those before intervention, with significant differences (P<0.05).The Cor expression levels of the study group in males and females were (84.03±13.81) and (86.64±14.07) pg/ml, which were lower than those of the control group of (97.56±14.52) and (100.12±15.92) pg/ml, the expression levels of Cor in male and female patients after intervention were lower than those before intervention, with significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of comprehensive nursing in tervention was significant in patients with depression of different genders, which could improve the expression level of BDNF and Cor.
