Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation between procalcitonin (PCT)and D-dimer and lung cancer. Methods A total of 63 patients with lung cancer admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Jinggangshan University were enrolled as observation group between June and November 2020,while other 36 healthy controls during the same period were enrolled as control group. The levels of PCT and D-dimer in the two groups were compared, and the levels of PCT and D-dimer in patients with different lung cancer stages in the observation group were compared, and the correlation between PCT and D-dimer and the occurrence and development of lung cancer was analyzed. Results PCT and D-dimer levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of PCT and D-dimer in the diagnosis of lung cancer was 0.855 and 0.920,respectively,lower than that of the combined detection of PCT and D-dimer(0.967)(P<0.05).The serum LEVELS of PCT and D-dimer in observation group increased with the progression of cancer stage (P<0.05).PCT and D-dimer levels were positively correlated with lung cancer stage progression (P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of PCT and D-dimer are related to the occurrence of lung cancer, which can be applied in the early screening and diagnosis of lung cancer. The levels of PCT and D-dimer are also closely related to the progression of lung cancer staging.
