Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of hysteroscopic shaving system in the treatment of submucosal uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 40 patients with submucosal uterine fibroids admitted to the Dalian Third People′s Hospital from May 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and were divided into study group(20 cases)and control group(20 cases)according to the surgical methods. The control group were treated with hysteroscopic bipolar electrocautery, while the research group were treated with hysteroscopic shaver system. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative serum sodium level, postoperative vaginal bleeding time and endometrial thickness were compared. Results The operative time of the study group was shorter than that in the control group, the intraoperative blood loss in the study group was less than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The duration of postoperative vaginal bleeding in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The endometrial thickness in the study group was thicker than that in the control group one month after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in postoperative serum sodium level between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Hysteroscopic shaving system is feasible and safe for the treatment of submucous myomas, which can shorten the operation time, reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss, and recover quickly after the operation. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
