Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of family doctor model in follow-up management of patients with type 2 diabetes(T2DM).Methods From January 2018 to January 2019,210 patients with T2DM who had established residents′ health records in the social health records of Huazhong University of Science and Technology Union Shenzhen Hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were selected as the study subjects.According to random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 105 patients in each group. The control group received routine follow-up management, and the observation group received follow-up management under the family doctor mode. The blood glucose, treatment compliance, and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After 1 year of intervention, the levels of fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose, and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 year of intervention, the diabetes treatment compliance score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The quality of life scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after 3,6,and 9 months of intervention and 1 year after intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The family doctor model used in the follow-up management of T2DM patients can improve their compliance, control blood sugar levels more effectively, and improve their quality of life.
