Abstract:Objective To explore the application of fetal growth parameters measured by ultrasound in fetal weight prediction.Methods A total of 500 healthy pregnant women whose fetal weight was estimated by ultrasonic measurement system within 72 hours of full-term delivery from January 2017 to December 2019 in Dongguan Guangji Hospital and Dongguan Jinmeiji Women′s and Children′s Hospital were retrospectively selected as research objects.The biparietal diameter (BPD), head circumference (HC), abdominal circumference (AC) and femur length (FL) of the fetus were measured by ultrasound from 36 weeks to 41 weeks of pregnancy, and compared with the actual weight of the baby within 72 hours of birth.The equation for predicting fetal weight was obtained by unit and multiple linear regression analysis.Results Combining the indexes of BPD, HC, AC and FL, the correlation between the predicted fetal weight and the actual birth weight was the highest (r=0.933).The coincidence rate between the predicted fetal weight and the actual birth weight was 83.2%.Conclusion The application of ultrasonic measurement system to predict fetal weight is simple and accurate, which can improve the one-sidedness of other methods in fetal measurement, the objectivity and accuracy of the overall measurement index and better serve the clinic.
