Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of lung ultrasound-assisted vibrating sputum drainage in the treatment of neonatal pneumonia. Methods A total of 70 cases of neonatal pneumonia admitted to Foshan Women and Children Hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research subjects, and divided into study group (35 cases) and control group (35 cases) according to random number table method. The study group was treated with lung ultrasonic localization assisted vibration sputum drainage, the control group was treated with conventional vibration sputum drainage. The treatment effect, blood gas analysis indexes, time to stop oxygen, time to disappear cough, length of hospital stay and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).At 10, 30 min after treatment, the oxygen partial pressure in the study group was higher than that in the control group, the carbon dioxide content was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The time needed to stop oxygen, the time to disappear cough and the length of hospital stay in the study group were all shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).No intracranial hemorrhage occurred in the two groups. Conclusion Lung ultrasound guided chest physiotherapy is safe and effective in the treatment of neonatal pneumonia.
