Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of percutaneous microwave ablation for low-risk thyroid micropapillary carcinoma and its effect on quality of life.Methods A total of 80 low-risk thyroid micropapillary carcinoma patients admitted to Anshan Cancer Hospital from December 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects,and divided into the observation group(40 cases)and the control group(40 cases)according to the method of drawing lots.The observation group was treated with percutaneous microwave ablation,and the control group was treated with open surgery.The total effective rate,incidence of adverse reactions and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the physical,psychological,social and material life scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The effect of percutaneous microwave ablation in the treatment of low-risk thyroid micro papillary carcinoma is very significant,and it can improve the quality of life score of patients.
