Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between children′s lobar pneumonia and five common trace elements. Methods A total of 65 children who had lobar pneumonia and treated in Shanghai Pudong New Area People′s Hospital from July 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the experimental group. During the same period, 65 healthy children from 1 to 12 years old came to the hospital for healthy checkup as the control group. Trace elements of the two groups were detected. Results The levels of zinc, calcium, magnesium and iron in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The children with trace elements deficiency in the experimental group were more than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant correlation between the content of trace elements and sex between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion Children with deficiency of trace elements will have a bigger chance to get respiratory system infection and lead to lobar pneumonia, and need to pay attention to the check and supplement of trace element and have children fed with balanced nutrition in order to avoid lobar pneumonia.
