Abstract：Radix Serratulae Chinensis as local learning products since a long time,which had the characteristics of clinical widely used,medicinal materials demand volume,and vast space.As a substitute for Cohosh,which had a lot of problems of be replaced,quality standard backward and the research content was limited.Research of Radix Serratulae Chinensis focused on the quality analysis,content determination and extraction process, etc.Research of which in clinical pharmacology,effective mechanism,efficacy of attending,formulation development was limited.The research status was inconsistent with which drug demand and clinical prescription.The author through the literature,summarized research progress on source of medica,replaced usage,active ingredients,quality standard,clinical pharmacology of Radix Serratulae Chinensis.The author put forward the prospect of thinking about Radix Serratulae Chinensis from the base source,resource development,the pharmacological efficacy,quality standard,formulation development to speed up the development of Radix Serratulae Chinensis.
