Abstract:Objective To study the effect of ear-point pressing of bean in the treatment of abdominal distension after resection of colorectal polyps. Methods From January 2020 to October 2020,80 patients with colorectal polyps who had abdominal distension after undergoing electrical resection surgery in Jiujiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received abdominal massage, and the observation group received ear-point pressing of bean on the basis of the control group. The recovery time of gastrointestinal function, the degree of abdominal distension at different postoperative time and the quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results The bowel sound recovery time, first defecation time and anal exhaust time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The abdominal distension score 6 h after surgery in two groups were higher than 1 h after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The abdominal distension score of observation group at 1 and 6 h after surgery were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of physiological function, mental health, interpersonal relationship and mental state in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The method of ear-point pressing of bean for patients with abdominal distension after colorectal polyp resection can help patients improve their abdominal distension, speed up the recovery time of postoperative gas, defecation, and bowel sounds, and promote the recovery of gastric function. To improve the quality of life of patients to a certain extent,it is worthy of clinical application.
