Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of the new delivery midwifery nursing service model on the rate of perineal lateral resection. Methods From February to September in 2020, 80 parturients from Wuxi People′s Hospital in Jiangsu Province were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the observation group and the control group by the method of touching the ball, 40 cases in each group. In the control group, routine nursing service model was used, and in the observation group, the new labor midwifery nursing service model was adopted. The volume of postpartum hemorrhage, second stage of labor, episiotomy, postpartum pain score and maternal satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The volume of postpartum hemorrhage in the observation group was less than that of the control group, the second stage of labor was shorter than the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05). The episiotomy rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The postpartum visual analog score (VAS) in pain of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The maternal total satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The new delivery process midwifery nursing service model has a very obvious effect on reducing the volume of postpartum hemorrhage, shortening the second stage of labor, reducing the rate of perineal incision, alleviating postpartum pain and increasing maternal satisfaction. It can be popularized in clinical practice.
