Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of alginate combined with hydrocolloid dressing in the treatment of peri-ostomy dermatitis. Methods Forty-eight patients with peripheral dermatitis after bowel fistula admitted to our hospital from January to December 2018 were enrolled in the study as subjects. They were divided into observation group(24 cases) and control group (24 cases) according to the order of admission. The observation group used alginate combined with hydrocolloid dressing, and the control group used skin protective film plus skin care powder, the rate of inflammation regression and treatment effect between two group were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.66%,which was higher than that of the control group (66.66%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in peristomal skin score tool (DET/AIM) scores between the two groups at 3 and 6 d (P>0.05).The scores of DET/AIM in the observation group on the 6,9 and 12th d were lower than that treatment for 3 d,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).the DET/AIM scores of the control group for 9 and 12 days were lower than the treatment for 3 d,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of hydrocolloid dressing combined with alginate in peripheral dermatitis after enterostomy has significant therapeutic effect and is of high clinical application and promotion value.
