Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of negative pressure closed drainage combined with alginate adjuvant and medical sponge material in the treatment of refractory burn wounds. Methods A total of 60 patients with refractory burn wounds admitted to our hospital from August 2016 to August 2018 were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group (32 cases) and the control group (28 cases). The experimental group was treated with negative pressure closed drainage combined with alginate adjuvant. The control group was treated with negative pressure closed drainage combined with sponge material. The number of dressing changes, wound healing time, wound pain level, wound granulation growth time and bacterial positive rate were compared between the two groups. Results The number of dressing changes in the experimental group was less than that in the control group, the degree of wound pain and bacterial positive rate of 7th and 14th day after treatment in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the healing time and fresh granulation growth time of the wound in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Negative pressure closed drainage combined with alginate adjuvant can effectively reduce the pain degree of patients with refractory burn wounds, the number of dressing changes, the growth of fresh granulation and wound healing time, and the incidence of wound infection.
