Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing methods on patients with stroke (CVA)and epilepsy. Methods A total of 100 patients with CVA and epilepsy treated in our hospital from August 2018 to August 2019 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing care. The observation group applied comprehensive nursing. Self-care ability, motor function, neurological deficit score, total nursing satisfaction and total incidence of complications were compared between two groups. Results The physical function ([47.23±4.55] points),psychological function ([68.89±5.57] points),social function ([50.23±5.12] points),material life score ([66.74±5.53] points),and the total score ([79.68±3.45] points) in the observation group were higher than those of the control group for(35.45±3.76) points,(46.65±4.31) points,(45.65±5.03) points,(43.58±4.48) points,(53.26±3.52) points, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05),the motor function score of patients in the observation group was (67.47±3.45)points,which was higher than that in the control group for (55.56±5.23) points, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),the neurological deficit score of the observation group was (15.23±2.32) points, lower than the control group for (18.75±3.31) points, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),and the nursing total satisfaction of the observation group patients (94.00%) was higher than that of the control group (80.00%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group (4.00%) was lower than that in the control group (18.00%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing methods for patients with CVA and epilepsy can not only effectively improve patients′ motor function and self-care ability, but also reduce their neurological deficits and complications, and it can also promote the relationship between patients and caregivers, increase patients′ satisfaction with nursing work,it is worth clinical applying.
