Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of specialmanagement in preventing falls in patients with stroke(CVA).Methods A total of 126CVA patients admitted to our hospital from August 2018 to February 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and divided into control group(n=64)and observation group(n=62)according to the random number tablemethod. The control group received routine care, and the observation group received specialmanagement based on the control group. The fall prevention awareness and risk of falls between the two groups before intervention,1month after discharge, and 6months after discharge were compared, the total incidence of falls from before intervention to 6months after discharge between the two groupswere compared. Results There were no significant differences in the fall prevention awareness and the risk of falls between the two groups of patients before the intervention (P>0.05).At 1and 6months after discharge, the fall prevention awareness in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the risk of falls was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of falls from before intervention to 6months after discharge in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Specialmanagement can improve patients′fall prevention awareness, reduce the risk of falls, and reduce the incidence of falls.
