Application effect of Xuanyu Tongjing Decoction combined with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist in the postoperative patients with ovarian endometriosis

Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of Xuanyu Tongjing Decoction combined with gonadotropinreleasing hormone agonist(GnRH-a)in the postoperative patientswith ovarian endometriosis.Methods From January 2017 to January 2019,100 patients with ovarian endometriosis (stageⅢ-Ⅳ)treated by laparoscopic surgery in our hospital were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into observation group (50 cases)and control group(50 cases)according to the random number tablemethod.The patients in the control group were treated with Leuprolide,and the patients in the observation group were treated with Xuanyu Tongjing Decoction based on the control group.The clinical efficacy,sex hormones(estradiol[E2],luteinizing hormone[LH],follicle stimulating hormone[FSH])levels,symptom scores of traditional Chinesemedicine,dysmenorrhea score before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reactions were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group,and the total incidence rate of adverse reactionswas lower than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The traditional Chinesemedicine symptom score,dysmenorrhea score and sex hormone levels after treatment of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Xuanyu Tongjing Decoction combined with GnRH-a for postoperative patients with ovarian endometriosis can improve clinical efficacy,reduce traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and pain score,improve sex hormone levels,and reduce the adverse reactions caused by long-term single administration of GnRH-a drugs,with better therapeutic effect.
