Abstract：Objective To explore the role of Doula accompany delivery in improving the quality of obstetrics. Methods From June 2015 to June 2017, 94 cases of maternal treated in our hospital were selected as the research objects, according to the hospital before and after the order, they were divided into the control group (n=47) and observation group(n=47). The control group adopts full responsibility midwifery, the observation group used doula to accompany delivery,the satisfaction of the two groups, cesarean section rate, incidence of postpartum hemorrhage, neonatal asphyxia, perineum infection, labor, and the bleeding were compared between two groups. Results The total satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The incidence of cesarean section, postpartum hemorrhage, neonatal asphyxia and perineal infection in the observation group was lower than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P＜0.05). The total labor stage of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the amount of bleeding was less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion The use of Doula accompanying delivery can promote the satisfaction degree of parturients, shorten the labor process, reduce the amount of bleeding, and reduce the risk of adverse pregnancy outcome.
