Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of self-efficacy intervention in the elderly parturient. Methods A total of 192 elderly women in our hospital from August 2018 to August 2019 were selected as research objects, according to the random number table method, the patients were divided into observation group (n=96) and control group (n=96).The control group received routine nursing,on the basis of routine nursing, the observation group received self-efficacy intervention. The time of delivery, pregnancy outcome, negative emotion and self-efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of Zung self rating anxiety scale (SAS)and Zung self rating depression scale (SDS) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The vaginal delivery rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the incidence of fetal distress, neonatal asphyxia and perinatal mortality was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The first stage, the second stage and the third stage of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of self-efficacy expectation scale (EE-16), outcome expectation scale (OE-16) and simplified Chinese version of labor self-efficacy scale (CBSEI-C32) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion On the basis of routine nursing, self-efficacy intervention can significantly shorten the delivery process of elderly women, reduce negative emotions, improve the level of self-efficacy and vaginal delivery rate, reduce the incidence of adverse outcomes of newborns, which deserves clinical attention.
