Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of nosocomial infection control supervision and management in reducing nosocomial infection. Methods A total of 850 inpatients in our hospital from December 2018 to may 2019 were selected as the research objects.Patients were divided into observation group (n=420) and control group (n=430)according to the different supervision and management schemes of infection control. The control group adopted routine nursing and treatment plan and worked according to the standard of hospital infection prevention. On the basis of the control group, the observation group was supervised and managed by the nosocomial infection control medical staff. The incidence of nosocomial infections, the quality of work quality of medical staff, and the detection rate of multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of nosocomial infection in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of theoretical knowledge, aseptic concept, service quality, hand hygiene and total score of work quality in sense control of the medical staff in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The detection rates of Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae MDROs in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion The supervision of medical staff can significantly reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections, improve the quality of medical staff, and reduce the detection rate of MDROs.
