Abstract:Objective To analyze the pathogenic bacteria distribution and drug resistance in the fourth quarter of 2017 in our hospital. Methods A total of 2262 specimens submitted for inspections in the fourth quarter of 2017 in our hospital were statistically analyzed, including wards and outpatient clinic, the re-inspection specimens were also covered. Results A total of 390 pathogenic bacteria were detected, of which 220 were Gram-negative bacteria, accounting for 56.41%.The top three were Escherichia coli (27.18%), Klebsiella pneumoniae (10.51%) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa(9.74%).The resistance rates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii to Carbapenems such as Imipenem were 42.86% and 68.75%, respectively. Conclusion In 2017, Gram-negative bacteria resistance in our hospital resistant to Carbapenems such as Imipenem mainly includes bacteria of enterobacteriaceae, multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii and multi-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Drug resistance monitoring is beneficial for guiding clinical rational drug use, providing a basis for epidemiological investigation of pathogens and rational use of antibiotics.
