Abstract:Objective To analyze the infection of Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU)and Mycoplasma hominis(MH)and drug resistance of antibiotics in the First Peopole′s Hospital of Huizhou City. Methods All of 1780 urogenital tract specimens from the patients treated in the First Peopole′s Hospital of Huizhou City from January 2017 to July 2018 were collected. Mycoplasma infection and drug resistance were analyzed. Results In 1780 specimens, 1286 (72.25%)were Mycoplasma infection, 1053 cases (81.88%) were UU-positive, 30 cases (2.33%) were MH-positive, 203 cases(12.39%) were UU+MH-positive. The infection rate of Mycoplasma in women (77.53%) was significantly higher than that in men (11.27%) and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Drug susceptibility test showed that Mycoplasma was more susceptible to Doxycycline, Minocycline and Josamycin, while MH, UU+MH were more resistant to Clarithromycin, Roxithromycin, Azithromycin and Ofloxacin. Conclusion Mycoplasma infection in urogenital tract is major caused by UU, that mostly occurs in female. It is recommended to use high sensitive antibiotices such as Doxycycline, Minocycline, and Josamycin to treat.
