Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Fluticasone Propionate combined with Montelukast in the treatment of chronic cough caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in infants.MethodsA total of 60 infants with chronic cough caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection treated in our hospital from July 2016 to June 2017 were selected as subjects and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Azithromycin Granules, the observation group was treated with Azithromycin Granules,Fluticasone Propionate Inhaled Aerosol and Montelukast Sodium Chewable Tablets. The cough symptomatic scores on the first,seventh,tenth,twenty-eighth days of treatmentwere compared, and the disappearance time of the cough symptoms were recorded. The clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups. All the children were followed up for 3months after treatment, the frequency of repeated attackswere observed.ResultsTherewas no significant difference in cough symptom scoresbetween the two groupson the firstday of treatment(P>0.05).The cough symptomatic scoreswere significantly lower in the observation group than those in the control group on the seventh,tenth,twenty-eighth days of treatment(P<0.01).The total clinical effect of the observation groupm was 93.3%,which was obviously higher than that of the control group(63.3%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The cough disappearance time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),and during the follow-up period of 3 months, the number of recurrences of children in the observation group was less than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).ConclusionTherapy on chronic cough caused by Mycoplasma Pneumoniae infection in infantswith combination of Fluticasone Propionate and Montelukastadjuvant has significant effect.
