Abstract：[Abstract]Objective To analyze the effect of L-Carnitine combined with hemodialysis(HD)in the treatment of uremic peripheral neuropathy.Methods Sixty patients with uremic peripheral neuropathy admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to October 2018 were enrolled in the study.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group 1 (30 cases)and study group 2 (30 cases).Study group 1 was treated with HD,and study group 2 was treated with L-Carnitine combined with HD.The improvement rate of symptoms and the total effective rate of treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The improvement rate of acral pain,sensory disturbance,numbness and restless legs syndrome in the study group 2 were significantly higher than those in the study group 1(P＜0.05）.The total effective rate of the study groups 2 was 90.00%,which was significantly higher than that of the study group 1(66.67%）,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05）.Conclusion L-Carnitine combined with HD in the treatment of uremic peripheral neuropathy can effectively increase the speed of related nerve conduction and improve the efficiency of treatment.
