Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Yangxue Qingnao Granules combined with Paroxetine in the treatment of patients with emotional disorder insomnia and its influence on thyroid hormone levels.Methods Ninety-six patients with emotional disorders insomnia who were treated in our hospital from January 2017 to May 2018 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into observation group and control group according to the order of treatment,48 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with Paroxetine Hydrochloride Tablets orally,and the patients in the observation group were supplemented with Yangxue Qingnao Granules on the basis of the control group with the way of dissolution,8 weeks was a course of treatment.The Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)were used to evaluate the sleep and anxiety status of the two groups before and after treatment.The levels of thyroid hormones(triiodothyronine[T3],thyroxine[T4],thyrotropin releasing hormone[TRH],and thyroid stimulating hormone[TSH])were measured before and after treatment in both groups.The incidence of adverse reactions during the treatment was recorded between the two groups.Results There were no significant differences in scores of PSQI and HAMA between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The scores of PSQI and HAMA in the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of PSQI and HAMA in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in levels of T3,T4,TRH and TSH between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The levels of T3,T4,TRH and TSH in the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of T3,T4,TRH and TSH in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Yangxue Qingnao Granules can significantly improve the sleep and anxiety symptoms of patients with emotional disorders insomnia,and regulate thyroid hormone levels,which is safe and reliable.
