Abstract:Objective To study the correlation between angiotensin Ⅱtype 1 receptor (AT1R) polymorphism and left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (LVDD) in patients with hypertension. Methods One hundred patients with essential hypertension (EH) admitted to our hospital from January to May 2018 were selected as the research objects. The AT1R genotyping in all selected patients was detected. The blood pressure (systolic blood pressure [SBP], diastolic blood pressure [DBP]), heart rate (HR), left ventricular diastolic function index (early diastolic peak blood flow velocity [EPFV],late diastolic peak blood flow velocity [APFV], EPFV/APFV, E-peak deceleration time [DT], isovolumic relaxation time[IVRT], peak velocity of early E-wave of mitral valve diastolic/peak velocity ratio of mitral annulus motion [E/Em]),renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) index (aldosterone [ALD], angiotensin Ⅱ[AngⅡ]) and plasma B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)were measured among different genes, and the correlation between various indicators and AT1R genotyping was analyzed. Results There were significant differences in SBP, DBP, HR, left ventricular diastolic function, plasma BNP and RAAS among the three gene types (P<0.05).There were positive correlations between different types of AT1R gene (type AA, AC, CC) and SBP, DBP, HR, ALD, AngⅡ, BNP, APFV, IVRT, DT and E/Em (r≥0.3,P<0.05).The different types of AT1R gene (type AA, AC, CC) were negatively correlated with EPVF and EPFV/APFV(|r|≥0.3, P<0.05).Ang II and ALD were positively correlated with SBP, DBP, HR, BNP, APFV, IVRT, DT and E/Em(r≥0.3, P<0.05).Ang II and ALD were negatively correlated with EPVF and EPFV/APFV (|r|≥0.3, P<0.05).Conclusion The AT1R gene polymorphism has a clear correlation with blood pressure, HR, plasma BNP level, left ventricular diastolic function index and RAAS index in EH patients.
