Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of establishing hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) in hospital disinfection supply center to ensure the quality and safety of medical tools after steam pressure sterilization. Methods Fifty patients treated in our hospital from March 2016 to March 2017 were selected and they were randomly divided into the study group and control group, there were 25 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were disinfected by common disinfection method, while those in the study group were disinfected by HACCP.Satisfaction degree with sterilization of medical instruments was compared in patients between the two groups. The qualified rate and the number of damages of medical instruments after sterilization were compared in patients between the two groups. Results The total satisfaction degree of sterilization and disinfection in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).The qualified rate of sterilization and disinfection of medical instruments in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).The damage rate of medical instruments in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The establishment of HACCP can improve patients′ satisfaction degree with disinfection work, improve the qualified rate of disinfection, reduce the number of damages caused by disinfection work, reduce the infection rate of patients and improve their quality of life.It is worthy of further clinical promotion and application.
