Clinical effect of Quanzhenyiqi Decoction in treating chronic heart failure and influence on serum humoral factors

Abstract：ObjectiveTo expore the clinical effect of Quanzhenyiqi Decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure(CHF)and influence on serum humoral factors.Methods126 cases of CHF patients treated in our hospital from December 2014 to December 2016 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method,all patients were divided into the conventional western medicine group (the control group)and the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine group(the observation group),with 63 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine.The observation group was treated with conventional western medicine and Quanzhenyiqi Decoction.Two groups were both treated for 4 weeks.Color Doppler echocardiography was performed before and 8 weeks after treatment in the two groups,left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),left ventricular end systolic volume (LVESV),left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end diastolic volume (LVEDV)and stroke volum (SV)were detected.Meanwhile,serum N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(N-proBNP),high sensitivity C reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-alpha),blood and urine routine,serum electrolytes,liver and kidney function were detected.The clinical efficacy of the two groups,the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome,the index of cardiac function and the adverse reaction were compared.Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 95.2%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(71.4%)(P＜0.05)).The total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in the observation group was 96.8%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(74.6%)(P＜0.05).8 weeks after treatment,the levels of LVEF,LVEDV,LVESD,LVESV,SV,N-proBNP,hs-CRP and TNF-alpha were improved in the two groups compared with those before the treatment(P＜0.05),and those in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P＜0.05).There was no adverse reaction found in the two groups.Conclusion Quanzhenyiqi Decoction in the treatment of CHF is safe and effective,which can improve the heart function index and serum level of humoral factors,and no obvious adverse reaction.
