Significance of uric acid,plasma cystatin C and high sensitive C reactive protein in the formation of carotid atherosclerosis in acute cerebral infarction

Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the significance of uric acid,plasma cystatin C and high sensitivity C reactive protein in the formation of carotid atherosclerosis in acute cerebral infarction.Methods100 cases of acute cerebral infarction treated in the Neurology Department of the Third Hospital of Nanchang City from January 2014 to December 2016 were randomly selected as the observation group,the clinical data of the patients were analyzed retrospectively.In addition,100 healthy volunteers without cerebral infarction and carotid atherosclerosis lesions were selected as the control group at the health check-up center of our hospital at the same time.The difference of uric acid,plasma cystatin C and hypersensitive C reactive protein between the two group were compared.On this basis,according to the degree of carotid atherosclerotic plaques,all patients were divided into the soft plaque group,the hard plaque group and the mixed plaque group,the level of uric acid,plasma cystatin C and hypersensitive C reactive detection values were compared.According to the prognosisis,all patients were divided into the good prognosis group and the poor prognosis group,and the same three indexes were compared.ResultsThe level of serum uric acid in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the normal group,the levels of plasma cystatin C and hypersensitive C reactive protein in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,with significant difference (P<0.05).The serum uric acid level of the soft plaque group was significantly lower than that of the hard plaque group and the mixed plaque group,the levels of plasma cystatin C and high sensitive C reactive protein in the soft plaque group were significantly higher than those in the hard plaque group and the mixed plaque group,with significant difference(P<0.05).The level of serum uric acid in the mixed plaque group was significantly lower than that in the hard plaque group,and the level of plasma cystatin C and hypersensitivity C reactive protein in the mixed plaque group were significantly higher than those in the hard plaque group,with significant difference(P<0.05).There was significant difference in the levels of serum uric acid,plasma cystatin C and hypersensitive C reactive protein between the poor prognosis group and the good prognosis group(P<0.05).ConclusionUricacid,plasma cystatin,hypersensitive C reactive protein are closely related to the formation of carotid atherosclerosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction.The three parties participate in the occurrence and development of carotid atherosclerosis in acute cerebral infarction,which must be paid more clinical attention to.
