Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of self-made transparent compression bag after permanent pacemaker implantation. Methods A total of 120 patients undergoing permanent pacemaker implantation from November 2012 to June 2017 in our hospital were divided into observation group and control group according to the lottery method,60 cases in each group.Patients in the observation group were provided with self-made transparent compression bag for postoperative oppression, while in the control group,self-made sandbag or salt bag after the operation was applied. The incision bleeding, capsular hematoma, and electrode dislocation occurred after the operation, comfort degree such as pain, dysuria, and sleep disorder, and compression bag shift and slippage were compared in the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the incidence of incision bleeding, capsular hematoma, and electrode dislocation between the two groups (P>0.05).The incidence of postoperative pain, dysuria, sleep disorder, compression bag shift and slippage was lower in the observation group than that in the control group, with a significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of self-made transparent compression bag after permanent pacemaker implantation can not only ensure the safety of the patient, but also increase the comfort of the patient. It can reduce the workload of nursing staff, increase patient's satisfaction, and nursing quality by medical personnel, which is worthy of promotion in clinic. However,in the process of using, avoid contact with sharp things is necessary in order to prevent the transparent compression bag ruptured.
